Varshasnata Mohanty obtained her M.Sc. degree in Cancer cell and Molecular Biology from University of Leicester, United Kingdom, where she worked on a project entitled 'Eukaryotic expression, purification and functional characterization of recombinant murine properdin, a positive regulator of the alternative pathway of complement system'. Further, she worked as a quality control microbiologist in the dairy industry in United Kingdom and as a scientist trainee in cancer biology at Clinical Research Organization, Chennai, India. At CSBMM, she is involved in genomic and proteomic analysis of head and neck cancers.
