Biography

Ms. Mejo George obtained her bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from the University of Calicut, Kerala, and her master’s degree in Biochemistry from Mahatma Gandhi University, Kerala, India. She has two years of professional experience as a Data Scientist at the Centre for Integrative Omics Data Science (CIODS), Yenepoya (Deemed to be University).

During this period, she worked on projects involving the analysis of mass spectrometry-derived proteomics and phosphoproteomics datasets, as well as the development of interactive regulatory networks mediated by ligand–receptor interactions. Her research interests include phosphoproteomics, metabolomics, cancer biology, signaling pathways, and CRISPR gene editing.

At the Centre for Systems Biology and Molecular Medicine (CSBMM), she is involved in projects aimed at elucidating proteomic and metabolomic cellular signaling networks in cancer using gene-editing and mass spectrometry-based technologies.
