Ms. Monisha M.J. completed her bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology, Microbiology, and Biochemistry from SDM Mahila Mahavidyalaya, Mysuru, and her master’s degree in Biochemistry from the University of Mysore. She carried out her MSc project on the role of platelet-activating factor in an in vivo pancreatitis model.
She is currently a PhD scholar at the Centre for Systems Biology and Molecular Medicine, Yenepoya (Deemed to be University). Her research focuses on the neuroprotective potential of Ayurvedic medicine in Parkinson disease, with an emphasis on phosphoproteomic approaches.
