Biography

Dr. Suvarna Kapale completed her BAMS from JSVV Samsthe Danappa Gurushiddappa Melmalagi Ayurvedic Medical College, Gadag (2009–2014), followed by a one-year compulsory internship. She worked in the field of clinical medicine for seven years. In 2022, she pursued her Master’s degree in Bioinformatics at Karnataka State Akkamahadevi Women University, Vijayapura, and in 2024, she was awarded the University Gold Medal for academic excellence. Currently, she is a PhD scholar and Junior Research Fellow at the Centre for Systems Biology and Molecular Medicine (CSBMM), Yenepoya Research Centre, Mangalore. Her research focuses on integrating Ayurvedic medicine with modern neuroscience to address Alzheimer disease.
