Akhila B. Rai has obtained her M.Sc. degree in Molecular Biology from the JSS Academy of Higher Education and Research, Mysuru in 2020. As a part of her master’s thesis, she worked on a project entitled “Anticancer activity of Myristica fragrans on colorectal carcinoma”. At CSBMM, she is working towards developing serum-based assays for diagnosis and monitoring colorectal cancer.
