About Us
The Centre for Systems Biology and Molecular Medicine (CSBMM)
is an academic research center which came into existence through joint efforts by the Yenepoya (Deemed to be University), Mangalore, and Institute of Bioinformatics, Bangalore, India. Initially, CSBMM started functioning as a part of the Yenepoya Research Center, a constituent entity of Yenepoya (Deemed to be University) established on November 20, 2014, to carry out multidisciplinary research, but has now been recognized as a separate Centre.
CSBMM is equipped with the state-of-the-art proteomic and metabolomic platform technologies supported by well-established experimental and computational processes to carry out high quality studies in areas including biomarker discovery/validation, target identification, and understanding the role of complementary and alternative medicine in human diseases.
