Multiomics& Integrative Bioinformatics (MIB)

The age of 'OMICS' has driven a hypothesis-free approach to understanding mechanisms underlying molecular functions. The rapid adoption of integrated omics techniques (genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics, metabolomics) has revolutionized the biological interpretation of data. Rightly described by Aristotle, "The whole is greater than the sum of its parts," these integrated platforms allow deeper insights into biological processes that dictate cellular regimes. The Multiomics & Integrative Bioinformatics Division envisions becoming to bridge the gaps between different –omics disciplines by developing integrated datasets and tools. By leveraging comprehensive data from genomics, proteomics, metabolomics, and more, we strive to provide deeper insights into the complex biological processes and their implications in health and disease. This integrated approach will pave the way for innovative therapeutic strategies and advanced bioinformatics solutions, contributing significantly to systems biology and molecular medicine.
