Dr. Shivaleela Biradar obtained her Master’s degree in Bioinformatics from Karnataka State Akkamahadevi Women University, Vijayapura. After completion of her M.Sc she joined as Genome Analyst in Clovergen Life sciences Pvt Ltd, Dharwad/Bengaluru. She completed her doctoral degree from Karnataka State Akkamahadevi Women University for the thesis entitled “Comprehensive screening and validation of small molecule inhibitors for inflammatory markers” After completion of her PhD, she worked as a guest faculty at the P.G department of Bioinformatics, Karnataka State Akkamahadevi Women University, Vijayapura for one year. She has published 09 research articles, and 06 book chapters. Her research interest areas include Bioinformatics, inflammation, genomics, Drug discovery, metabolomics. Currently at CSBMM she is involved in DBT project entitled “Skill development in mass spectrometry-based metabolomics technologies-BIC”.
