Kriti Awasthi obtained her M.Sc. in Bioinformatics from Banaras Hindu University, Varansi, India. As part of her master’s dissertation, she worked on a project entitled “A Database of Stress Genes in Order Nostocales of Cyanobacteria”. She worked as a Bioinformatics trainee in DBT funded BCIL Bioinformatics Training Programme in the project entitled “Insilico investigation & Comparative analysis of some medicinal plants against Dengue Virus”. She worked as Project Assistant-II in CSIR- National Botanical Research Institute, Lucknow, U.P. Recently, she worked as a Young Professional-II in ICAR- National Bureau of Fish Genetic Resources, Lucknow, U.P. At CSBMM, she is involved in NGS Data analysis and involved in development of various Bioinformatics tools.
